Aidea Philippines Inc. has been commissioned to design the new headquarters for Cagayan Electric Power and Light Company, Inc. (CEPALCO) in Cagayan de Oro City. As the third-largest electric distribution company in the Philippines, CEPALCO has consistently seen some of the highest growth rates in energy consumption in the country. The company's dedication to modern facilities and an efficient service network has made it one of the most reliable electric service providers in the nation.
The new CEPALCO headquarters will be a four-storey building occupying an 86,100 sq. ft. lot in Brgy. Kauswagan, with 53,000 sq. ft. of office space. The building will feature a range of amenities, including conference rooms, an executive lounge, a library, a data centre, and general circulation spaces. Additionally, the facility will house a canteen with seating for 30 to 50 people, along with a security office.
In line with its commitment to sustainability, CEPALCO has tasked Aidea with ensuring that the new headquarters will be the most sustainable building in the Philippines. The building is set to achieve the highest possible LEED certification—Platinum. The project is scheduled for completion in 2012.
This collaboration underscores Aidea's expertise in designing high-performance, sustainable buildings that set new standards in the industry.
