Aidea earns place in BD's World Architecture Top 100 List

Aidea Philippines, Inc. has secured its spot at No. 86 on the BD World Architecture (WA) Top 100 list for 2009, making it the only Philippine architectural firm to be recognised on the global rankings. This marks a notable leap from its previous ranking of No. 103 in 2008. The BD World Architecture Top 100 is a definitive list of the largest architectural firms worldwide, published by Building Design (BD), a leading London-based architecture-focused communications company.

The rankings are based on factors such as the firm’s presence in various sectors and regions, as well as the number of architects employed. Aidea's inclusion on this prestigious list is a testament to its resilience, having weathered economic challenges with a focus on its key specializations in hospitality, high-rise residential, office, retail, and corporate fit-out sectors.

In 2009, Aidea completed projects in both Rome and Dubai, yet the firm’s growth has been driven by an increased volume of work in the Philippines, which is expected to continue contributing the bulk of its turnover in 2010.

Founded in 2004 by its visionary leader, Aidea is an all-Filipino company that offers a comprehensive range of services, including architectural design, interior design, planning, and graphic design. The firm boasts a distinguished roster of clients, including Ayala Land Inc., one of the country’s largest real estate developers, and global retail giant Procter & Gamble. Notably, Aidea has designed the headquarters for Procter & Gamble in Geneva, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Kiev, and Moscow, alongside numerous prestigious projects for Ayala Land, such as The Columns, Serendra, Avida, Greenbelt, the UP-Ayala Technohub, and Convergys.

This ranking highlights Aidea’s growing prominence on the global stage and its continued commitment to excellence in the architectural design industry.
