Fridays Resort Boracay is being reimagined as a five-star beachfront destination, renewing its legacy as one of the island’s most storied properties. Located on a prized stretch of sand, the redesigned resort will embrace a contemporary tropical aesthetic while honoring the spirit that made it an enduring favorite. This transformation—
anchored in a partnership between Fridays Holdings Inc. and the Radisson Hotel Group—marks the debut of the Radisson Collection in Southeast Asia. The result will be a refined, modern resort that reflects Boracay’s evolving profile as a world-class destination.
From its original 48-room footprint, the resort expands to 97 bespoke accommodations, including serene beachfront villas and suites nestled in lush, shaded pathways. Four signature dining experiences and an open-air beachfront wedding pavilion serve as social and sensory anchors, while two pools, curated lounging spaces, and wellness features support moments of retreat.
The interiors draw from vernacular textures—coconut rope, woven panels, sunlit wood, native stone, and handcrafted vessels—evoking a mood of paradise found. Every detail feels natural yet elevated, creating an atmosphere of authenticity and ease.
Aidea’s architectural and interior design approach honors this ethos of honest and bespoke. Working from a clean slate, the design reconfigures space, movement, and program into a more fluid and immersive resort experience. Interiors embrace craftsmanship and raw textures, layered with refined touches that invite warmth and calm.
Neutral palettes, diffused light, and curated objects tell a story that is both deeply local and distinctly timeless—allowing guests to feel not just transported, but connected.
Sustainability is embedded in the design narrative—from passive cooling and natural ventilation to materials that age gracefully within the tropical climate. Behind the beauty lies discreetly integrated infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency without compromising guest comfort. Fridays Resort Boracay is more than a redesign — it is a return to the island's essential charm, reframed for today’s traveler. As it prepares to begin construction in 2026, it stands poised to set a new benchmark in tropical hospitality: quiet, rooted, and effortlessly refined.
