There are times when a city shows you what it hopes to become.
The launch of Makati’s first Eco Patch at Legazpi Active Park felt like one of those moments—hopeful, grounded, and aligned with a shared belief that urban progress should also nurture the natural world. Leaders and advocates from Ayala Land, MACEA, and Make It Makati gathered to mark this beginning, including MACEA Treasurer and Aidea President, Jojo Tolentino, whose support reflected the same values we uphold in our work: stewardship, collaboration, and long-term care.

The Eco Patch brings native species back into the heart of the city, creating a living space that future generations will grow up with—one that reminds them that renewal is possible when communities act with intention and choose to Think Together.
We are grateful to the partners for making this initiative real. May this be the first of many efforts that invite us to imagine, and build, a greener and more thoughtful Makati together.
