Designing for What’s Next

More than just an address, One World Place is the architectural embodiment of Daiichi Properties’ vision for a globally connected, future-ready workplace in the heart of Bonifacio Global City. Realized alongside Gensler, the 31-storey tower offers smart,

sustainable spaces purpose-built to support the evolving dynamics of business, tenant lifestyles, and employee well-being. It stands as a subtle yet powerful addition to the skyline—sleek, modern, and distinctly Filipino in its material warmth and spatial sensibility.

Every element of the design reflects a progressive philosophy: to create a structure that adapts to change, enhances performance, and resonates with both global and local values. Above, a curtain wall system with high-performance glazing balances transparency, natural light, and thermal comfort, contributing to the building’s LEED Silver certification and WELL Health-Safety Rating. Inside, high-efficiency vertical circulation separates low-rise and high-rise zones for seamless tenant movement.

Structural systems were carefully engineered to meet the demands of a seismically active, typhoon-prone environment, ensuring safety, durability, and long-term viability.

Flexibility is a core tenet, with modular planning systems that support diverse programs and future expansions.

A key milestone in the building’s journey was the evolution of its design scope. Originally conceived by Daiichi Properties as a shell-and-core project, the vision expanded through the involvement of Gensler, who brought a holistic perspective encompassing planning, brand, and public space design.

This strategic partnership was enabled by Aidea’s leadership as Lead Local Architect, facilitating seamless coordination through its advanced Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) platform.

The VDC model allow real-time collaboration between local and global experts. The model allowed early clash detection, Aidea’s approach eliminated friction in the process; streamlining timelines, minimizing waste, and preserving design integrity throughout construction. Through this technology-driven process, the building became a refined product of vision, precision, and shared purpose.

One World Place is a responsive workplace—agile enough to support a wide range of tenant activities and resilient enough to anticipate the needs of tomorrow’s workforce. It is also a comfortable home for the people within, offering quality, convenience, and pride of place. As a strategic investment in Manila’s rise as a regional business hub, it represents the best of what a modern office building can be: high-performing, human-centric, and unmistakably world-class.
