Arya Residences stands as a pioneering residential development, introducing a new standard for sustainable luxury living in the Philippines. Located at McKinley Parkway in Bonifacio Global City, this two-tower condominium reflects the evolving needs of urban dwellers who seek not only refined
living spaces but also a commitment to environmental responsibility. With LEED Gold Certification, Arya Residences became the first residential project in the country to achieve this distinction, signaling a shift towards green architecture in Philippine real estate.
Arya Residences comprises two distinct towers: a 44-storey cylindrical structure on an elliptical plan and a 39-storey rectilinear tower. These are connected by a shared podium, which provides both structural cohesion and access to a host of amenities. The visual juxtaposition of the towers, paired with their sleek modern design, creates a striking yet harmonious architectural statement in the skyline of Bonifacio Global City.
The upper podium terrace features a wide range of lifestyle amenities, including three swimming pools, function rooms, a fitness center, and indoor and outdoor children's play areas. Landscaped gardens offer tranquil spaces for relaxation, while the podium itself is a testament to how shared areas can be designed to promote wellness and social interaction among residents. The lower podium plaza enhances the vibrancy of the development by offering retail and dining spaces, contributing to the lively streetscape and creating a seamless connection between Arya Residences and the surrounding urban environment.
Beyond these features, Arya Residences prioritizes sustainability and well-being. The project’s design is centered on optimizing energy use, reducing water consumption, and ensuring high indoor air quality. Every aspect of the development was planned with both comfort and responsibility in mind, resulting in a building that meets the highest international standards for green living.
One of the critical aspects of Arya Residences' design evolution was optimizing the orientation and configuration of the towers to harness natural light and ventilation. This not only reduced the building's energy consumption but also enhanced the overall living experience for residents.
This ensured the project’s smooth progression from concept to completion, while simultaneously improving design accuracy, reducing conflicts, and enhancing collaboration across teams. Key technological implementations included energy-efficient systems for lighting, heating, and cooling, which were designed to meet the requirements of both LEED and BERDE certifications.
Advanced HVAC systems were installed to maintain optimal indoor air quality, while water conservation systems reduced overall water usage through features such as low-flow fixtures and rainwater harvesting. The project also incorporated advanced monitoring and management systems, ensuring that energy consumption, air quality, and water usage could be tracked and optimized over time. The use of these tech solutions not only reinforced Arya Residences' green building credentials but also enhanced the comfort and convenience of its residents. From the strategic use of prefabrication techniques to the implementation of intelligent building systems, the project demonstrates how technology can be integrated into residential architecture to create spaces that are both sustainable and aspirational.
