The Curve of Possibilities
Crescent City is a 210-meter, 43-story office skyscraper prominently located along the Caspian Sea coast in Baku, Azerbaijan. As a central component of the Crescent Development Project—also known as Crescent Bay—the tower is accompanied by the Crescent Place residential tower and the iconic Crescent Hotel, situated offshore on a man-made island.
This mixed-use complex aims to create a vibrant and integrated urban environment that enhances Baku's skyline and economic landscape.with practical functionality. Designed by South Korea-based Heerim Architects & Planners Co. Ltd., Crescent City features a distinctive torch-inspired form, symbolizing Azerbaijan's energy and forward-looking spirit.
The building's unique design enhances Baku's skyline while reflecting a commitment to innovation in architecture and urban development. Crescent City aspires to redefine modern architectural possibilities by harmonizing striking form with practical functionality.
Aidea played a pivotal role in the SOCAR Tower project by providing Architectural BIM Integration and Documentation. Collaborating closely with the design team, Aidea developed a customized GDL (Geometric Description Language) element to optimize the façade curtain wall design and fabrication.
This meticulous process facilitated the seamless translation of conceptual ideas into tangible construction elements, ensuring precise execution of the building's distinctive form throughout its development. The Crescent Development Project aims to become a hallmark of architectural excellence within Baku's urban landscape. Through careful planning and collaborative efforts, Crescent City alred its accompanying structures not only redefine the city's skyline but also exemplify a shared dedication to advancing the boundaries of architectural possibility. This initiative showcases the potential of thoughtful design and innovation in creating transformative urban spaces.
