As-built modeling solutions for renovation projects

A Chicago-based architectural firm had a healthy pipeline of school renovation projects, each built more than 30 years ago. Aidea Technologies created digital versions of the school buildings from a combination of 2D PDF drawings and laser scans of the as-built conditions, in half the time it would have taken to complete it internally. Our team utilized various VDC-based automation such as auto BIM model audit and auto 2D sheet generation, allowing the project team to design on an accurate and complete base plan at the earliest instance. Both teams collaborated real-time on BIMcloud for ease in capturing issues for resolution and updates, virtually co-creating from a distance.
