The UP-Ayala Land Technohub represents a pioneering collaboration between academia and industry, designed to foster innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. Developed in partnership with the University of the Philippines, this 20-hectare clevelopment is strategically located in Quezon City,
at the heart of a thriving academic and research environment. Recognized as a PEZA-registered economic zone-providing tax incentives and operational benefits to technology firms-the Technohub attracts businesses seeking a strategic base in the region.
Recognizing the client's vision of an integrated community where science-and-technology companies can thrive alongside the country's brightest minds, our design balances commercial viability with a strong sense of place and purpose.
The Technohub is built on the principle of connectivity—physically through its walkable layout, and intellectually through its integration of business and academia. At the center is a 3-hectare park with a man-made lagoon, creating a green space that supports wellness and social connection. Surrounding it are essential facilities including retail spaces, a business hotel, and campus apartments, forming a complete live-work-learn ecosystem.
Anchored by the Tech Portal and Retail Plaza, the hub encourages collaboration and innovation, blending productivity and leisure in a vibrant, future-ready environment. Aidea approached the Technohub’s design with a focus on creating an environment that seamlessly integrates work, research, and daily life. The master plan emphasizes accessibility and collaboration, with pedestrian-friendly pathways linking office spaces to shared amenities and green open spaces.
Architecture and landscape are thoughtfully integrated to encourage interaction and comfort. Buildings are oriented for natural light and ventilation, reducing energy use, while open plazas, shaded paths, and adaptable workspaces promote collaboration and innovation.
By prioritizing adaptability and connectivity, the design ensures that the Technohub remains relevant as technology and business needs evolve. The result is a setting that supports productivity while nurturing an atmosphere of continuous learning and discovery. The UP-Ayala Land Technohub stands as a model for sustainable and future-ready urban development.
